People-like application included with DR9.
Although there is a People app included with the BeOS
now, Surgeon has some
advantages over People. For example, the editor window
acceps new Person files dropped on it, and it offers a separate tab
with a textview for 'comments' about a certain Person.
This is version 0.91, uploaded 16 March 1998. New in this version is support
for ICQ numbers. StyledEdit documentation is included. Also in the archive as of version 0.91
is mkpeople, a little command line utility to generate Person files from a file
containing a list of name/email address pairs. mkpeople comes with documentation
and source.
The Nickname attribute was added on request by Adamation, Inc.
